tarted in 1980 by retired Marine Gunnery Sergeant and Bay City Police Officer Robert Greenleaf, he had dilligently made sure that the children of Bay County receive toys at Christmas; during the first year 263 children benefited from this program, and the number has grown to well over 2500 children since then. Now the Bay County Toys for Tots program has been under new leadership since the year 2000, the current Coordinator former Marine Jeff A. Jarvis, is dedicating his time and efforts to continue the tradition of bringing happiness and holiday joy to the less fortunate children of our community.
